IT Service Management Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development, design, and ownership of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Deliver administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support.

• Configure effective solutions for customers utilizing the ServiceNow platform.

• Collaborate with application teams to design and implement data interfaces.

• Coordinate and resolve complex technical data and transformation challenges.

• Develop, maintain, and execute reports, dashboards, and analytics.

• Support data imports and integrations.

• Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), including the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

• Address technical and application configuration inquiries.

• Create and maintain system design, operations, and platform documentation.

• Support Knowledge Management and Asset Management processes.

• Maintain knowledge of certificate management.

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and finalize technical tasks related to configuration.

• Provide software coding and customization services.

• Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades.

• Gather and analyze business requirements to propose sustainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with ITIL Concepts.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficient in developing, updating, and interpreting JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.

• Advanced scripting capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of development on the ServiceNow Platform, including client and server scripting, ServiceNow REST API, and custom widget development in Service Portal.

• Understanding of ServiceNow development and configuration best practices.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow database hierarchies and design.

• Experience in the development, customization, and administration of various components of ServiceNow.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PowerShell.
