This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Develop, execute, and uphold extensive security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational data and systems.
• Monitor and evaluate system vulnerabilities, implementing corrective measures to reduce risks.
• Lead efforts in incident response, including the investigation, documentation, and resolution of security breaches.
• Oversee the deployment of security technologies, tools, and best practices throughout the organization's infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to pinpoint gaps and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate employees on security best practices and foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in cybersecurity and propose proactive enhancements to fortify defenses.
• At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field in IT security.
• Active CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
• Active CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated experience in managing security incidents and emergency response planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
