IT Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee the investigation and resolution of intricate cybersecurity incidents

• Analyze and correlate security events from SIEM, IDS, EDR, antivirus, firewall, and proxy solutions

• Perform digital forensic investigations

• Offer expert advice throughout the incident response lifecycle

• Collaborate closely with Security and IT teams

• Assist in remediation efforts

• Enhance SOC procedures

• Contribute to the ongoing development of security capabilities

• Provide occasional availability outside of standard working hours during critical incidents

• Make occasional visits to the Katowice office as needed for business or team requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in a SOC Analyst, Threat Hunter, Threat Researcher, or Incident Response role

• Practical experience in incident handling, alert management, and cybersecurity investigations

• In-depth knowledge of contemporary attack techniques, threat actors, and attack vectors

• Experience with digital forensics, host- and network-based investigations, memory analysis, and malware analysis

• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Candidates must reside anywhere in Poland
