IT Project Manager – Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Execute IT infrastructure, cloud, and workplace technology projects according to established scope and milestones.

• Provide support for Azure cloud migration projects.

• Oversee the deployment of infrastructure components, including network, server, storage, virtualization, and cloud integration.

• Implement enterprise voice and unified communications solutions (VoIP, UCaaS, CCaaS).

• Generate project documentation such as schedules, delivery plans, and risk registers.

• Report on agreed-upon project performance metrics (scope, schedule, quality, risks).

• Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and client stakeholders as necessary to achieve project goals.

• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions).

• Deliver services in compliance with the relevant security, governance, and architectural standards set by the client.

• Participate in post-engagement reviews and ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in IT project or program management services.

• At least 4 years of experience in delivering Azure cloud migration projects.

• Demonstrated experience in executing infrastructure transformation programs.

• Experience in providing consulting services to external enterprise clients.

• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Proven experience in coordinating with third-party vendors and system integrators.

• Experience working with distributed and international project teams.

• Fluent in English (minimum C1 level).

• Proficiency in French is an advantage.

• Preferred project management certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with enterprise collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco UC, Zoom Phone).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

• Experience with ITIL or service transition processes.

• Background in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
