IT Program Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offers comprehensive leadership and direction on significant programs and projects.

• Recruits project managers and scrum masters, providing oversight and corrective actions for struggling projects.

• Measures, delivers, and oversees project performance while collaborating on interdependencies among projects and other programs.

• Strategizes, regulates, and manages the execution of multiple large-scale, complex enterprise IT programs to fulfill agreed-upon business requirements.

• Oversees various project scopes, ensuring successful execution within the bounds of technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.

• Organizes program management reviews and prepares and disseminates program management metrics and reports.

• Provides regular project updates (Program Status Report) detailing the current status concerning milestones and identifying problem/high-risk areas.

• Shares expertise and enhances team capabilities to improve understanding of IT and enterprise industry, business issues, and best practices.

• Engages in regular communication with functional and IT leaders to maintain enterprise alignment and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree along with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience is required.

• Alternatively, equivalent experience reflecting applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill that aligns with this position's level is acceptable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experienced in Project Management.

• Familiarity with Risk Management is necessary.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI is preferred.
