This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the governance and management of intricate IT programs;
• Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage multiple interrelated projects;
• Play an integral role in shaping digital transformation strategies;
• Lead cross-functional teams that include IT, clinical, and business professionals;
• Track budgets, timelines, risks, and issues effectively;
• Engage in the implementation and enhancement of clinical-administrative solutions;
• Provide guidance to managers and decision-makers on technological pathways;
• Create communication strategies and change management plans;
• Generate accountability reports, performance metrics, and executive summaries;
• Facilitate steering committees, workshops, and governance meetings;
• Ensure alignment of organizational, clinical, and technological goals;
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of program and project management methodologies.
• Possess a degree in computer science, information technology management, engineering, or a related discipline;
• A minimum of ten (10) years of pertinent experience in IT project or program management;
• Over five (5) years of experience in managing complex IT projects with significant integration in organizational or clinical settings;
• Proven extensive experience in managing programs or portfolios of complex, interdependent projects;
• Experience in deploying or upgrading clinical-administrative solutions such as EHR/EMR, ADT (Admission-Discharge-Transfer), telehealth systems, or medical imaging solutions;
• Skilled in traditional, agile, or hybrid project management methodologies;
• Experience in project governance, budget management, risk assessment, and accountability reporting;
• Strong understanding of IT organization and governance challenges within the health and social services sector;
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction to senior leadership;
• Exceptional communication skills, strategic writing abilities, and facilitation of working groups;
• Proven leadership qualities, independence, diligence, and a strong collaborative ethos.
