IT Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Develop and articulate a comprehensive product vision and strategy that aligns with the overarching goals and objectives of Purple Mattress.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders and end-users, to collect and prioritize technology requirements.

• Create and manage a product roadmap that details the delivery of IT solutions and features over time.

• Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant outcomes.

• Assess and manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring that third-party solutions meet the needs and standards of Purple Mattress.

• Identify and address risks associated with IT projects, providing solutions and contingency plans as necessary.

• Work alongside quality assurance teams to guarantee the reliability, security, and performance of technology solutions.

• Advocate for a seamless and user-friendly experience for both internal and external users, collecting feedback and implementing improvements.

• Manage the change associated with technology implementations, ensuring successful adoption with minimal disruption.

• Maintain thorough documentation, including product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CSPO) is an advantage.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT product management, demonstrating a successful track record of delivering technology solutions.

• Strong project management skills along with familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enhance collaboration across cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of software development and best practices in IT infrastructure.

• Ability to analyze and simplify complex technical concepts into easily understandable business terminology.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities coupled with a strategic mindset.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is beneficial.
