IT Operations Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist the IT Operations team in enhancing optimization and performance management.

• Collaborate with databases, servers, applications, and systems for monitoring and alerts.

• Develop the comprehensive strategy for both infrastructure and application operations.

• Evaluate intricate system landscapes and their connections to hardware.

• Act as a liaison for internal stakeholders and technical partners.

• Provide support for audits and compile technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT systems electronics technician, or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant professional background in the planning, operation, and optimization of complex application environments.

• Familiarity with database servers such as MS SQL, Postgres, or MariaDB, and web servers like IIS or Apache.

• Experience with reverse proxies such as HAProxy or Nginx and hosting distributed applications.

• Technical proficiency that spans from applications to hardware.

• A security-first mindset.

• Experience supporting audits and assessments.

• Proficient in business-level German and strong English language skills.
