This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Document IT processes, procedures, configurations, and workflows to ensure operational consistency and future reference.

• Keep precise records of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

• Assist in the creation and updating of internal IT documentation and manuals.

• Collaborate closely with the IT team to support ongoing technology projects and initiatives.

• Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and project updates.

• Provide administrative and technical support for IT operations as required.

• Research emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the IT field.

• Suggest improvements or efficiencies based on industry best practices.

• Assist in evaluating software, hardware, and IT management solutions.

• Document inventory and IT infrastructure.

• Maintain records for asset tracking.

• Help with equipment organization and lifecycle management.

• Monitor software installations and ensure licensing compliance.

• Assist with software audits and renewal documentation.

• Create and update network diagrams.

• Develop executive-level technology overview diagrams.

• Aid in infrastructure mapping and visualization.

• Support the development and maintenance of internal IT policies and procedures.

• Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Assist with internal audits concerning toner and printer management, hardware and IT assets, software usage and licensing, user roles and permissions, as well as security groups and access management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.

• Strong organizational and documentation capabilities.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with IT inventory systems or ticketing platforms.

• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and diagrams.

• Interest in cybersecurity, systems administration, or IT operations.

• Experience working with Microsoft Windows environments and commonly used business software.
