IT Helpdesk Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Offer direct technical assistance to end users through phone, email, walk-up, and web channels.

• Support IT systems such as Wynne Rental-man, AS/400, email, PC networks, Microsoft Office, printing, scanning, faxing, basic computer hardware, and web systems.

• Provide Tier II support and aid Level I helpdesk staff.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues.

• Respond to phone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical assistance.

• Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure prompt resolution.

• Manage and oversee customer support systems and departmental operations.

• Collaborate with department team members for cross-communication and cross-training.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

• Enhance the service provided by the CMIS department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of proven effectiveness in a similar position.

• A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Familiarity with AS/400 systems.

• Strong understanding of PC-based hardware and software systems.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.

• Willingness to work indoors or outdoors as required by the position.
