IT Financial Analyst – Workday

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a primary point of contact between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to enhance and support the organization’s Workday Financials platform.

• Accountable for system configuration, data accuracy, reporting, and continuous enhancements that facilitate financial operations throughout the healthcare enterprise.

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, support the financial systems strategy, and ensure that Workday solutions align with organizational objectives, regulatory mandates, and healthcare industry standards.

• Work collaboratively with Finance, Supply Chain, and operational leaders to gather requirements and convert them into effective system solutions.

• Create and manage Workday dashboards, reports, and analytics to aid in financial decision-making.

• Oversee or contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and system optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in supporting Workday Financials or comparable ERP systems.

• Solid understanding of financial processes such as GL, AP, budgeting, and procurement.

• Familiarity with reporting tools within Workday (e.g., Workday Report Writer, dashboards).

• Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
