This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate and implement financial strategies that align with growth and operational objectives.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Create and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer insights into financial and operational performance.
• Convert financial data into actionable insights that inform business decisions.
• Foster enhancements in forecasting accuracy, reporting capabilities, and strategic planning processes.
• Supervise accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, cash management, and financial analysis functions.
• Ensure precise and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Oversee financial processes that promote efficiency, scalability, and business growth.
• Manage financial statements, cash flow reporting, and performance evaluation.
• Discover opportunities to refine processes, controls, and operational effectiveness.
• Aid in the assessment of strategic growth opportunities, such as acquisitions, investments, and expansion initiatives.
• Lead financial analysis, due diligence, modeling, and integration planning for prospective transactions.
• Collaborate with leadership on capital allocation strategies and investment decisions.
• Cultivate relationships with financial partners, lenders, and external stakeholders.
• Recognize financial and operational risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, audit requirements, and reporting standards.
• Manage interactions with external auditors and financial institutions.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Set clear goals, expectations, and development opportunities for finance team members.
• Encourage strong cross-functional collaborations across the organization.
• Oversee financial systems, reporting tools, and technology initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to utilize automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Support advancements in financial systems, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
• MBA, Master’s degree, CPA, and/or CFA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• At least 3 years in a senior finance leadership position such as CFO, VP Finance, or a comparable executive role.
• Proven experience leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Background in supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other significant growth initiatives.
• Experience managing complex, rapidly growing organizations.
• Background in a private equity-backed or investor-supported environment is preferred.
