This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more state.
• Lead several cross-functional project teams to successfully execute low- to medium-risk IT finance initiatives while adhering to time, budget, and scope limitations.
• Oversee an average of 3–5 projects from initial planning through to completion.
• Assemble project teams, create work plans, and manage expectations, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Supervise project scope, budget, schedule, staffing, vendor relations, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor milestones and modify project plans or resources as needed to uphold customer commitments.
• Convey project status and risks to stakeholders and oversee project change management processes.
• Develop, evaluate, and manage project plans, timelines, and resource forecasts.
• Oversee project finances, budgets, and impacts related to ROI.
• Identify and address issues, dependencies, and project risks.
• Create contingency plans and recommend strategies for risk mitigation.
• Maintain alignment and relationships with stakeholders, including internal customers, vendors, and senior management.
• Assist Portfolio/Program Managers with project objectives, prioritization, and delivery decisions.
• Track and report on project metrics.
• Collect and disseminate lessons learned and feedback.
• Provide support for vendor requests, training materials, operational/business tasks, and required reports or databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• At least 8 years of relevant IT or business experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in implementing project life cycle methodologies.
• Strong analytical capabilities for budgeting, forecasting, and ROI assessment.
• Proven ability to influence and manage teams without formal reporting structures.
• Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects with intricate interdependencies.
• Comprehensive understanding of finance processes, systems, and regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of finance-system integration with enterprise platforms.
• Capability to build consensus among finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Superior vendor management skills.
• Outstanding communication skills for executive-level status, risk, and financial reporting.
• Ability to operate independently, make well-informed decisions, and escalate issues as necessary.
• PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is preferred.
• Preferred experience with Oracle EBS, SAP, or Workday.
• Preferred background in finance technology risk mitigation and change management within regulated environments, including SOX and GDPR.
• Preferred experience in contingency planning, lessons learned, and process improvement.
• Home office setup must include an HD webcam, hardwired high-speed internet, and a stationary workstation.
• Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours, regardless of location.
