IT Epic Application Lead – Grand Central, Prelude

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Lead proactively by providing application teams with clear guidance, mentorship, and extensive technical knowledge.

• Transform user requirements into effective solutions by assessing workflows, challenges, and opportunities to enhance or automate systems.

• Take ownership of the application by acting as the primary authority for designated systems, driving design, development, optimization, and ensuring long-term success.

• Drive outcomes by coordinating project and operational activities to adhere to timelines, quality benchmarks, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Collaborate purposefully by closely partnering with providers and staff to create tools that facilitate exceptional patient care.

• Address critical issues by troubleshooting problems, managing escalations, and leading efficient problem-solving efforts.

• Foster a winning team culture based on collaboration, accountability, and exemplary customer service.

• Influence team success by participating in team discussions and providing performance feedback as necessary.

• Lead responsibly by promptly addressing human resource concerns with leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.

• 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare with a Bachelor’s Degree.

• 7 years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare with an Associate’s Degree.

• 9 years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare with a High School Diploma or GED.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

• Certification in Epic’s Grand Central application is required (and must be maintained as per Epic guidelines).
