This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee Device & App Management: Serve as the primary hub for our device ecosystem. Administer MDM, coordinate device logistics across global locations, and establish a seamless provisioning experience. Develop and manage strategies for application deployment and app lifecycles, which includes scripting for remote installation, updates, and configuration.

• Manage Access & Security: Advocate for our security stance by devising and implementing device management policies and overseeing device networking. Control access for key platforms. Administer a password manager and compliance tool, while laying the groundwork for secure account credentialing.

• Automate & Streamline Onboarding: Create and implement automation for user onboarding processes, ensuring that new team members promptly receive access to essential hardware, software, and pertinent Slack groups. (Aligned with potential future SSO/SCIM initiatives).

• Provide Outstanding Technical Support: Build and maintain an internal IT helpdesk that resolves issues effectively. Develop self-service resources, troubleshoot intricate problems, and guarantee our team has continuous access to the tools they require.

• Implement and Maintain IT Asset Management: Design, deploy, and oversee our IT asset management system to monitor hardware, software, and licenses. Ensure accurate inventory, compliance, and optimal allocation of resources.

• Scale Our Infrastructure: Design systems and processes that evolve with our growth. Identify operational bottlenecks, implement automation where feasible, and create documentation. Manage office IT infrastructure needs, which may include video conferencing and network management.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and other departments to comprehend their technical requirements and execute solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

• Practical understanding of device management systems (such as JumpCloud), compliance monitoring tools (like Vanta), and managing access across various platforms (Microsoft, Cloud Providers, Google Admin).

• Experience in automating onboarding and IT processes.

• Familiarity with concepts and management of device networking.

• Exceptional organizational skills to manage device logistics across multiple locations with precise tracking.

• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.

• Bonus: experience in establishing an IT function from scratch or leading IT projects from inception to completion.
