This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee IT requirements, resolving hardware, software, access, and connectivity challenges.
• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Oversee asset inventory and device lifecycle management for laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Manage endpoints across Windows, macOS, and Linux, including enrollment, compliance policies, and configuration standards.
• Record procedures and maintain the IT knowledge base and runbooks.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Design and implement least-privilege permissions for SharePoint.
• Handle licenses, groups, conditional access policies, and role-based permissions.
• Safeguard sensitive information using sensitivity labels, data loss prevention strategies, and governance for external sharing and guest access.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevSecOps teams to provide secure, governed AWS resources.
• Manage identity, access, and governance within AWS.
• Oversee cloud expenditure and enhance access controls along with repeatable processes.
• Monitor and react to endpoint security alerts while investigating any suspicious activities.
• Enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA), disk encryption, patching, and least-privilege access protocols.
• Manage vulnerabilities, security configurations, and conduct security awareness training.
• Assist in incident response through triage, containment, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Comply with CMMC and NIST 800-171 standards, including audits and responses to customer security questionnaires.
• Protect Controlled Unclassified Information through effective configuration, access control, and data management practices.
• Suggest and apply tools and processes to improve IT operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and IT purchasing activities.
• Help shape the IT and security roadmap as the organization expands.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical IT administration or systems support experience.
• Proficient in administering AWS, including IAM, AWS Organizations, EC2, and S3.
• Direct experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune administration.
• Experience in supporting remote and distributed teams effectively.
• Practical knowledge in identity and access management, endpoint protection, and incident response.
• Familiarity with administering SaaS tools, including access control, licensing, and vendor management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, and foundational networking.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize support requests, security tasks, and projects efficiently.
• Possess clear and patient communication skills with non-technical colleagues, while building credibility with engineers.
• Excellent documentation practices.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Willingness to take on multiple roles within a small team.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Current residency within the United States is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance if necessary.
• Permanent residency or visa sponsorship is not eligible to meet regulatory requirements.
