This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Align IT procurement requirements and priorities with IT, business clients, and Supply Management leadership.
• Oversee assigned supplier portfolios, agreements, renewals, and activities related to third-party risk management.
• Manage client portfolios, comprehend procurement requirements and timelines, cultivate relationships, and influence procurement strategies.
• Spearhead, develop, and execute category strategies to control expenses and maintain supply continuity.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and renewals in collaboration with Legal, Risk Management, IT, and business partners.
• Negotiate statements of work and ordering documents with clients and suppliers.
• Evaluate, identify, and mitigate risks associated with third-party agreements.
• Contribute to business cases, manage expenditure, and plan project procurement timelines alongside CIO, IT, business technology leaders, and project teams.
• Engage in Supply Management processes including Supplier Onboarding, Third-Party Risk Management, Stakeholder Advisory Board, Risk Council, and P&L Improvement.
• Communicate with leadership, enhance team performance, support P&L improvement, and promote diversity objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Management, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of professional experience in Supply Management, Procurement, or IT Business Office roles focused on IT supplier or category management.
• Information Technology experience managing IT services and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of the IT marketplace, relevant terminology, and industry standards.
• Proven experience with application development and managed services agreements as well as statements of work.
• Skilled in negotiations involving pay-for-performance and shared-risk allocation in agreements.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
• Capacity to lead cross-functional business meetings, create and deliver clear presentations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of business structures, processes, and information flow within an organization with multiple business lines.
• Experience utilizing common Supply Management tools for procure-to-pay and contract lifecycle management.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
• The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.
• Preferred: a combination of Supply Management and IT experience.
• Preferred: experience with major IT service providers and suppliers.
• Preferred: experience in authoring and contracting professional services statements of work.
• Preferred: familiarity with Coupa P2P and/or Ironclad CLM.
• Preferred: previous experience in nonprofit, humanitarian, or mission-driven organizations.
• A Master’s degree and professional certification are preferred, but not mandatory.
• Capability to utilize a personal computer, relevant software, and office equipment for extended periods.
