IT Business Analyst – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Model insurance products and design business processes using BPMN 2.0.

• Create requirements and gap analyses while ensuring alignment with development teams.

• Develop, discuss, and take ownership of solution designs.

• Support implementations tailored to customer needs.

• Implement software adjustments related to processes in Java/Camunda BPM.

• Conduct requirements engineering.

• Plan and perform functional/domain tests.

• Engage in IT consulting and system integration projects, including on-site work at customer locations.

• Assume responsibility at the intersection of business and IT.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik) or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Initial experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer, preferably with core insurance systems.

• Ideally, familiarity with process modeling, such as BPMN 2.0.

• Ideally, experience in process automation, for example, Camunda BPM.

• Assume responsibility at the interface between business and IT.

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to clearly and precisely explain technical matters in both German and English.
