IT Business Analyst – Aviation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• In alignment with IT policies and procedures, create comprehensive and precise project scoping and design documentation intended for technical specialists to develop suitable solutions.

• Gather and formulate clear, traceable requirements through various methods such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

• Critically assess information collected from diverse sources, resolve conflicts, break down high-level information into detailed components for better understanding, and differentiate user requests.

• Work collaboratively with developers, architects, subject matter experts, and other IT team members to define the technical vision balancing usability and performance requirements.

• Ensure that the approved requirements are defined in adequate scope and detail to facilitate the delivery of a solution that aligns with customer expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as an IT Business Analyst with contributions to software development lifecycles.

• Strong communication and documentation abilities, especially for software projects, coupled with the capacity to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Analytical skills and foundational project management expertise, including a deep understanding of how to interpret business needs and convert them into application and operational requirements.

• Capability to swiftly grasp complex, detailed processes and distill them into concise summaries.
