This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various business functions to gain insights into workflows, challenges, and strategic goals.
• Facilitate sessions for gathering requirements, conduct stakeholder interviews, and organize cross-functional workshops.
• Convert business and clinical requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, system documentation, and process diagrams.
• Assist in optimizing enterprise systems, including but not limited to: HRIS, CRM, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and healthcare data systems.
• Work alongside IT, Security, Engineering, and Product teams to create and implement scalable, secure, and cohesive system solutions.
• Develop system enhancements and implementations that comply with HITRUST controls, HIPAA regulations, and internal governance standards.
• Discover opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into business processes while ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Assess AI-driven tools for operational suitability, scalability, security, privacy, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to perform vendor risk assessments adhering to HITRUST, HIPAA, and internal third-party risk management protocols.
• Lead or assist in technology acquisition efforts, including RFP creation, cost-benefit analysis, and vendor due diligence.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of vendor assessments, risk evaluations, and mitigation strategies to meet audit requirements.
• Create executive-level reports, dashboards, and status updates to convey project impact and vendor risk status.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar capacity; exceptional candidates with less experience but proven expertise in evaluating, implementing, or operationalizing AI and automation solutions in a business context will be considered.
• Background in a regulated industry such as financial services or healthcare.
• Familiarity with working within a regulated compliance framework (e.g., HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, FINRA, or similar standards).
• Experience in gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements across enterprise systems.
• Proven experience in supporting system implementations, vendor assessments, or third-party integrations.
• Solid understanding of healthcare data privacy and security principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
