IT Budget Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive research to collect data pertinent to both IT and non-IT projects. Analyze intricate datasets to produce actionable insights and recommendations.

• Prepare and deliver thorough reports, briefing documents, and updates for ITW leads, stakeholders, and VHA executive leadership. Ensure meticulous documentation to facilitate strategic decisions.

• Aid in the formulation of project plans, timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various initiatives within ITW.

• Coordinate and provide logistical support for ITW meetings and briefings, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

• Maintain comprehensive records of research findings, project updates, and meeting minutes, ensuring accessibility and traceability of project artifacts.

• Facilitate the advancement of both IT and non-IT projects, ensuring alignment with VHA's strategic goals and compliance with governance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in research, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in research and data analysis, ideally within the healthcare or government sectors.

• Prior experience with acquisition and budgeting processes within a federal agency is essential.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Demonstrated ability to convert data into insights that inform strategic decisions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting to leadership.
