IRT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the main IRT liaison for sponsors and study team members throughout the study duration, which includes comprehending the IRT system requirements and functionality while overseeing the IRT Vendor in all study-related tasks.

• Collaborate with leads from functional areas to identify and assess key issues within projects.

• Collect information regarding potential or existing risks/issues and provide comprehensive details to management to ensure these risks/issues are acknowledged and addressed. Oversee all IRT quality events that may arise during the study.

• Guarantee that the study remains audit-ready at all times. Participate in any study audit that necessitates IRT involvement.

• Conduct study-specific informal testing, review study-specific system support guidelines for accuracy and completeness, and manage the UAT testing phase with all relevant parties.

• Prepare, coordinate, and deliver meeting materials and communications according to timeline milestones. Attend and facilitate meetings and communications with sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional team members.

• Oversee the IRT budget throughout the study's duration. Ensure that accurate hours are accounted for various tasks. Review and approve all vendor invoices, escalating any discrepancies or necessary adjustments in the IRT budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Prior experience that equips the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job (equivalent to 5+ years). In some instances, a combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered adequate to meet the role's requirements.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional oral presentation and written communication skills.

• High proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email software, various analytics and visualization tools, as well as proficiency with the primary software utilized by the company.

• Basic understanding of relational database concepts and familiarity with data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL or MS Access).

• Strong adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary, global cross-functional team.

• Basic knowledge of project management standards and practices.

• Proven capability to develop and deliver services and solutions in a collaborative and cross-functional global environment, with an awareness of the user perspective.

• Effective skills in querying, compiling, entering, tracking, and maintaining data in systems that support department programs and processes.

• Basic familiarity with IRT system applications and concepts.
