IP Research Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support product recommendations by offering insights and technical knowledge.

• Create, initiate, and oversee RWS studies within AOP Connect, ensuring they meet client expectations and study goals.

• Evaluate and verify the accuracy and relevance of responses submitted by researchers, offering feedback and guidance when necessary.

• Convey study results to clients in a clear and professional manner during client status meetings.

• Provide technical advice and assistance to researchers, utilizing your expertise in patents and associated technical areas.

• Manage the closure of studies, including the preparation of final reports and the distribution of rewards to researchers.

• Work closely with other study managers and researchers to guarantee the successful execution of research initiatives.

• Maintain a sharp attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, physics, or telecommunications.

• Juris Doctor with over 7 years of experience in patent law, including experience in patent searching and/or examination.

• Ideally, a former patent examiner.

• Extensive experience in conducting patent searches and the ability to analyze various patents and technical/scientific literature.

• Exceptional oral presentation and technical writing skills, with the capacity to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with team members, including study managers and researchers.
