IP Facility Coder, CCS – Medical Records

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Encode all varieties of hospital records: inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, home health, and hospice.

• Ensure compliance with Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.

• Examine patients' complete medical records and assign the appropriate codes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Valid coding certifications required at the time of hire (CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, RHIT/RHIA).

• A minimum of three to five years of coding experience is required.
