IP Docketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Managing the prosecution of intellectual property patents and overseeing trademark docketing

• Collaborating directly with IP attorneys and business professionals

• Ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of all deadlines

• Producing reports and maintaining organized dockets

• Aiding in the management of patent maintenance fees and trademark renewal processes

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred

• Minimum of five years of significant experience in IP docketing

• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. and international patents, PAIR, Trademarks, and PCT

• Experience with CPI or Pattsy is highly desirable

• Familiarity with IPR, PTAB, and/or TTAB proceedings is an advantage

• Proficient knowledge of USPTO procedures, 37 C.F.R., the MPEP, and the TMEP

• Strong analytical skills, well-organized, highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Capability to manage confidential information with discretion

• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with the MS Office Suite
