IOT Account Executive – SLED Southeast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Drive sales expansion for Cisco's Industrial IoT portfolio targeting State and Local Government clients across the Southeast region.

• Create and implement territory strategies aimed at transportation agencies, Departments of Transportation (DOTs), municipalities, airports, rail systems, and water/wastewater organizations.

• Cultivate executive and operational connections with OT leaders, transportation engineers, infrastructure planners, and stakeholders in the public sector.

• Facilitate customer discussions regarding secure connectivity, infrastructure modernization, asset visibility, operational resilience, and OT cybersecurity.

• Collaborate with Cisco Account Managers, Systems Engineers, and cross-functional teams to identify, qualify, and secure Industrial IoT opportunities.

• Promote Cisco's ruggedized networking offerings, which include industrial routers, switches, wireless solutions, security features, and software specifically designed for challenging environments.

• Navigate intricate public-sector procurement processes and foster long-term strategic account growth.

• Stay informed about industry trends, transportation modernization efforts, smart infrastructure initiatives, and evolving OT security requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in technology related to Industrial IoT, networking, OT, transportation technology, utilities, infrastructure modernization, or similar fields.

• Proven experience selling to State and Local Government entities.

• A track record of successfully developing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder technology sales opportunities.

• Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity, industrial infrastructure, or operational technology solutions.

• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region to meet customer and business requirements.
