iOS Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-quality production iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Create and execute user-friendly, responsive mobile interfaces for insurance, payment processing, and customer workflows.

• Connect backend APIs for quotes, policy oversight, claims management, and transaction services.

• Contribute to mobile functionalities that include AI-enhanced features (such as chat interactions, personalized suggestions, and automation processes).

• Formulate UX patterns for real-time interactions, encompassing loading indicators, streaming responses, retries, and fallback mechanisms.

• Enhance application performance, responsiveness, memory efficiency, and battery life.

• Implement analytics, crash tracking, and user behavior monitoring to elevate product quality.

• Work collaboratively with backend, product, design, and AI/ML teams throughout the development cycle.

• Maintain stability, scalability, and exceptional App Store quality for production releases.

• Persistently advance engineering standards, architecture, and iOS best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in iOS development using Swift.

• Solid understanding of iOS architectural patterns (MVVM, MVC, or current equivalents).

• Demonstrated experience in delivering production-grade iOS applications.

• Strong grasp of async/await, concurrency, and managing background tasks.

• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and engaging with distributed systems.

• Strong debugging capabilities and performance enhancement skills (memory, CPU, battery).

• Experience in creating responsive user interfaces using SwiftUI (experience with UIKit is an advantage).

• A strong sense of ownership with meticulous attention to detail and product excellence.

• Comfortable in a dynamic product development environment.
