This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the team's results for the iOS mobile roadmap in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager.
• Recognize and personally manage the most complex and impactful engineering projects that involve multiple teams.
• Develop a one-to-two-year technical vision for the mobile platform, focusing on architecture, technical foundations, and the investment roadmap.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Engineering Manager to establish product strategy informed by user needs, objectives, and metrics.
• Lead the implementation of the mobile product strategy.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to senior engineers in areas such as execution, judgment, and influence.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment amidst ambiguity and organizational complexity.
• Guide the team towards AI-native methodologies, including foundational technologies, tools, and expedited high-quality delivery.
• 8+ years of experience in iOS development or similar positions.
• Proficiency in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and various iOS frameworks.
• Proven history of delivering high-quality and engaging mobile experiences.
• Capability to work autonomously, steer technical direction, and function effectively with minimal supervision.
• Competence in prioritizing tasks across multiple projects.
• Ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in 0-to-1 environments, including early-stage or new product development.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Demonstrated skill in mentoring and supporting fellow engineers.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.
• Insight into how AI coding tools transform the software development process for teams.
• Robust product instincts with the ability to balance speed and reliability in decision-making.
• Additional full-stack development experience across client and backend systems is advantageous.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
