iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Incorporate advanced product features via backend APIs.

• Design user experience patterns for real-time engagements, including streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and recovery from failures.

• Analyze and enhance application performance, battery usage, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry for ongoing model evaluation and product enhancement.

• Collaborate with ML and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Maintain production quality, adhere to release standards, and ensure App Store stability.

• Take ownership of the native client experience for AI-driven productivity applications centered on email, calendars, and note-taking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.

• Hands-on experience in integrating AI-driven or machine learning functionalities in mobile applications.

• In-depth knowledge of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Proven ability to craft resilient client experiences that accommodate network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• History of launching and supporting consumer-facing production applications on the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device ML frameworks, such as CoreML.

• Experience with feature flagging implementations.

• Strong product intuition with a focus on mobile UX and client-side reliability.
