Senior iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain features in modular SwiftUI applications.

• Take ownership of features from start to finish, including design review, architecture, A/B testing, and deployment.

• Influence architectural choices and enhance code quality through thorough code reviews.

• Guide other developers and disseminate best practices throughout the mobile team.

• Enhance app performance, stability, and ensure a high crash-free rate.

• Stay updated with Apple platforms, including new iOS releases and Swift language updates, integrating valuable enhancements into the apps.

• Contribute to the Printful and Printify iOS applications utilized by merchants for product design, store management, and order tracking.

• Work collaboratively with designers, backend developers, and the Android team to provide cohesive and refined cross-platform experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing production iOS applications using Swift.

• Proficient in SwiftUI.

• Strong grasp of Swift concurrency (async/await, actors, Sendable).

• Familiarity with modular app architecture and Swift Package Manager.

• Experience in writing unit tests (XCTest or Swift Testing).

• Proven track record of making architectural choices and leading features from conception to launch.

• Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development.

• Good understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with The Composable Architecture (TCA) or another unidirectional architecture (Redux/MVI-style).

• Nice to have: Experience with UIKit interoperability.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of WidgetKit or other app extensions.

• Nice to have: CI/CD experience for iOS (GitHub Actions, TestFlight, App Store release process).

• Nice to have: Experience with product analytics and experimentation tools (Amplitude, Firebase).

• Nice to have: Understanding of crash reporting and triage (Sentry, Crashlytics).

• Nice to have: Experience with snapshot testing.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
