Invoice-to-Cash Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Manage teams focused on billing, cash application, collections, and dispute resolution.

• Guarantee the timely and accurate generation of invoices in accordance with contractual agreements.

• Oversee daily cash posting and the resolution of unapplied cash.

• Implement strategies for collections to minimize DSO and enhance aging buckets.

• Take ownership of key performance indicators, including: DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), Aging over 90 days, Bad debt reserves, and Billing accuracy rate.

• Compile monthly accounts receivable reports and executive dashboards.

• Spearhead automation projects such as invoice delivery automation, EDI, and portal integrations.

• Collaborate with IT on ERP system enhancements (Peoplesoft, High Radius, Power BI).

• Ensure compliance with SOX/internal control requirements for the Order to Cash processes.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the skills of teams in billing, collections, and cash application.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• 5–8+ years of progressive experience in Invoice-to-Cash or Accounts Receivable, encompassing Cash applications, Collections, and Billing.

• 4-5 years of experience in a leadership role.

• Strong familiarity with ERP systems, particularly PeopleSoft.

• Demonstrated success in improving DSO and cash flow.

• Experience with process automation and system implementation.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
