This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and manage the onboarding process for investors to the Investor/IM portal, ensuring access provisioning, data accuracy, and resolution of issues related to the investor-facing portal.
• Evaluate investor transactions in line with the Fund’s offering documents.
• Review investor statements, communications, and various documents prior to distribution to investors, ensuring compliance with investor and fund management directives.
• Confirm receipt of valid tax reporting forms from investors when Pinnacle provides tax services.
• Conduct reviews of subscription and redemption documents for less complex Funds/clients.
• Assess anti-money laundering (AML)/KYC requirements for investors of selected Funds to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all processes and outputs align with Pinnacle’s policies and maintaining the control environment.
• Address and resolve inquiries or issues raised by investors, fund managers, or internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary contact for team members, clients, and other internal service teams.
• Proactively manage client requests and ensure that staff respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Review, comprehend, and be able to discuss fund PPMs/OMs, side letters, and trade documents.
• Provide regular reports and feedback on investor relations topics, client issues, and departmental initiatives.
• Complete annual regulatory reporting for FATCA CRS.
• Oversee the AML programs provided by Pinnacle, including annual refresh or testing of controls.
• Coordinate with all relevant internal teams (e.g., Treasury, Fund Accounting) to ensure processes and workflows are aligned to meet client requirements.
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Investor Services Team to ensure all client deliverables are met punctually and that investor requests are addressed promptly.
• Support internal staff training and client-facing communications for the Investor portal.
• Allocate sufficient time for coaching, developing, and training junior staff.
• Conduct performance appraisals for staff and assist in their ongoing development and goal setting.
• Effectively manage staff's time and workload to ensure that both internal and external deadlines are met.
• Act as the first point of escalation for team members.
• Prior experience in Investor Services or client relations is essential.
• 1-2 years of direct management experience is required.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC and FATCA/CRS regulations.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple demands, competing priorities, and constant changes.
• Proficiency in time allocation and management of tight deadlines.
• An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Canadian, Cayman, and Bermuda regulatory frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Comfort in learning and troubleshooting client-facing technology platforms; experience with system rollouts or portal implementations is advantageous.
• Bilingual (French/English) verbal and written communication skills are a plus.
