Investor Relations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations, which include managing investor events, Analyst Day, marketing materials, the IR website, and vendor relationships.

• Support all facets of the earnings process, encompassing development of earnings scripts and presentations, as well as Q&A preparation.

• Assist in the planning and execution of conferences, non-deal roadshows, and bus tours.

• Lead the targeting program aimed at identifying and engaging potential large shareholders while assessing engagement effectiveness.

• Evaluate business fundamentals and valuations of HubSpot alongside peer companies.

• Examine market reactions to competitive developments and HubSpot's corporate actions, providing insights to leadership.

• Build internal business knowledge and create external messaging.

• Ensure compliance with Reg FD during investor events, meetings, presentations, marketing efforts, and conference calls.

• Monitor and assess shareholder concerns to pinpoint issues and improve external communications.

• Innovate methods to utilize AI for enhancing team efficiency.

• Collaborate with finance, legal, and communications leadership on key initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• At least 5+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, sell-side research, capital markets, investment banking, or corporate strategy.

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting, with a working knowledge of Reg FD.

• Familiarity with capital markets, including the ability to develop and comprehend financial statements and valuation models commonly used by investors.

• Capacity to synthesize data and qualitative information to create a compelling narrative for both internal and external audiences.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across various business and finance teams to build trust and achieve results.

• A strong curiosity and eagerness to learn more about capital markets, the software sector, and industry competitors.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of the SaaS software industry is a plus.

• Emerging executive presence and comfort in communicating directly with executives and the investment community in high-stakes situations.

• Proficiency in investor relations tools such as FactSet and Irwin.
