This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute fundamental reconciliation projects.
• Examine investor reports, schedules, and loan servicing documentation.
• Reconcile investor principal, interest, taxes, and insurance bank accounts while adhering to Regulation AB deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items within 90 days as mandated by Regulation AB.
• Evaluate remittance discrepancies among investor accounting reports, the loan servicing system, and remittance statements.
• Ensure adequate cash levels in custodial accounts.
• Verify data from other departments and rectify inconsistencies in modification and liquidation reports.
• Assist team members in achieving reporting deadlines.
• Carry out additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
• Proficient understanding of Investor Reporting.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
• One (1) to three (3) years of pertinent experience, including investor accounting and/or reporting, is required.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
• Intermediate skills in Excel and Access database management.
• Capacity to comprehend, retain, and apply oral and written instructions.
• Capability to understand, retain, and convey routine factual information.
• Ability to exercise common sense in job execution.
• Competence in making decisions that significantly affect the department’s credibility, operations, and services.
• Skill in organizing thoughts and ideas into clear terminology.
• Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work schedules.
• Ability to calculate, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or create forecasts and computer models.
• Aptitude for communicating clearly and promptly with others.
