This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Interact with incoming leads - homeowners considering a Home Equity Investment (HEI) - and assist them from their initial inquiry to the signed agreement.
• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls each day to engage with potential homeowners in your pipeline.
• Inform homeowners about Truehold Financial's HEI product: its functionality, comparisons to alternatives (such as HELOCs and cash-out refinances), and its suitability for their unique circumstances.
• Act as the sole point of contact throughout the entire process - manage the homeowner relationship from start to finish.
• Oversee your pipeline using Salesforce - record every interaction, maintain up-to-date deal stages, and proactively identify stalled files.
• Deliver regular and proactive status updates to homeowners via phone, email, and text: outlining completed tasks, next steps, and any information you require from them.
• Collaborate with internal processors and underwriters to keep applications progressing and to quickly address any bottlenecks.
• Monitor and strive towards monthly and quarterly sales targets; alert management early if you are falling behind.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the HEI product, including underwriting guidelines, eligibility criteria, and common objections.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape and understand how to effectively position Truehold Financial's offerings.
• Work cross-functionally with teams in originations, marketing, and legal to address inquiries and promote a high-quality experience for homeowners.
• Enhance team culture by sharing successful strategies: call techniques, objection handling, and product positioning.
• Over 7 years of sales experience in a closing role: HEI consumer sales are mandatory.
• A strong drive to meet and surpass goals: you approach your pipeline as a business rather than merely a list of tasks. You are aware of your metrics and take responsibility for the outcomes.
• Authentic empathy: you take the time to understand a homeowner's circumstances before proposing a solution. You recognize that trust facilitates deals, not pressure.
• Excellent communication skills: clear, professional, and direct — whether on the phone, in emails, or via text. You possess strong writing and listening abilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems: experience with HubSpot or Salesforce is required. You maintain a tidy pipeline and detailed notes.
• Flexibility: as we develop a new product in a nascent category, processes will change, and you will need to adapt without losing momentum.
• A collaborative attitude: you compete against your own goals, not against your colleagues. You share successful practices and seek assistance when needed.
• Commitment to high ethical standards: you represent Truehold Financial to homeowners. You are transparent about what the product can and cannot do.
• Comprehensive benefits package: includes 401(k) matching, paid time off (PTO), and paid holidays.
• A rapidly growing company operating in over 20 markets.
• Incoming demand - no cold calling or prospecting lists required.
• Potential to earn based on performance with opportunities for rapid advancement.
• Mission-driven: focused on aiding homeowners in accessing equity without displacement.
