
Investment Data Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead architectural and design initiatives in investment data transformation projects.
• Collaborate with business, operations, accounting, and technology stakeholders to establish future-state operating and data models.
• Create scalable investment data architectures that support workflows across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
• Direct integration strategies among investment platforms, accounting systems, custodians, security masters, performance systems, and downstream reporting environments.
• Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, data flows, mappings, and transformation logic.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding investment data governance, reference data strategies, reconciliation processes, and platform rationalization.
• Assist with enterprise migrations and platform implementations, including systems like Eagle, SimCorp, Aladdin, CRD, and associated investment ecosystems.
• Serve as the strategic liaison between client business teams, architects, developers, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design discussions with senior client stakeholders.
• Evaluate implementation strategies and offer architectural guidance to development and engineering teams.
• Support proposal development, solution discussions, and initiatives aimed at growing the consulting practice when applicable.
• Over 10 years of experience in investment management technology, investment operations, investment accounting, or investment data consulting.
• In-depth understanding of investment management workflows across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
• Extensive experience in investment data architecture, data modeling, and integration design.
• Experienced in supporting enterprise platform implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of investment accounting, security master/reference data, performance measurement, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Eagle, SimCorp, Aladdin, CRD, Bloomberg, or other related investment systems.
• Capability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical and operational solutions.
• Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, and client communication skills.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and development teams in an implementation environment.
• Strong documentation and solution design skills.
