Investment Banking Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the complete execution of client transactions, encompassing mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising efforts.

• Engage in M&A transactions, historical deals, private placements, and fundraising activities by crafting financial analyses, transaction overviews, and necessary documentation.

• Create sell-side pitch materials that showcase strategic opportunities and value propositions for potential investors and buyers.

• Develop pitchbooks and presentation slides for client engagements.

• Conduct comprehensive research on industries, markets, and products regarding current events, valuation trends, key financial metrics, and competitive landscapes.

• Collect financial data, perform in-depth analyses, and assist in the execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, private equity arrangements, and various advisory services.

• Support senior bankers in business development initiatives, preparation of background materials, and identification of opportunities.

• Coordinate projects and enhance communication among clients, advisory teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Assist senior bankers in managing timelines, deliverables, and ensuring high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, accounting, or valuation.

• Prior involvement in M&A transactions or relevant internship experience is highly desirable.

• Strong financial modeling capabilities in Excel.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint for producing client-facing documents.

• Familiarity with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook) is an advantage.

• Fluent or advanced English proficiency is required (both written and verbal).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective project management and time management abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong client service orientation and a collaborative mindset.

• CFA Level I candidate or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
