Investment Banking Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assist in the comprehensive execution of client transactions, encompassing M&A and capital-raising efforts.

• Conduct financial analyses, prepare transaction summaries, and compile supporting documentation along with trading comparable multiples.

• Create sell-side pitch materials that emphasize strategic opportunities and value propositions.

• Develop presentation slides and aid senior team members in preparing client-facing materials.

• Perform research on industry, market, and product trends, focusing on current events, valuation trends, financial metrics, and competitive landscapes.

• Collect financial data, execute detailed analyses, and aid in the execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, private equity settlements, and other advisory services.

• Support senior bankers in business development initiatives, preparation of background materials, and identification of opportunities.

• Enhance communication between clients, advisory teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to timelines, deliverables, and the production of high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, accounting, or valuation.

• Prior exposure to M&A transactions or relevant internship experience is strongly preferred.

• Proficient in financial modeling using Excel.

• Skilled in PowerPoint for the production of client-facing materials.

• Familiarity with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook) is advantageous.

• Fluent or advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Efficient project and time management skills.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• A strong orientation toward client service and a team-oriented mindset.

• CFA Level I candidate or above is preferred but not mandatory.
