Investment Banking Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assist in the comprehensive execution of client transactions, encompassing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as capital-raising efforts.

• Engage in M&A transactions, precedent deals, private placements, and fundraising activities by generating financial analyses, transaction summaries, and relevant documentation.

• Create sell-side pitch materials that emphasize strategic opportunities and value propositions to attract potential investors and buyers.

• Prepare presentation slides and support senior team members in producing high-quality materials for client meetings.

• Conduct research on industry trends, market dynamics, product developments, valuation trends, key financial metrics, and competitive landscapes.

• Collect financial data, carry out thorough analyses, and assist in the execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, private equity arrangements, and other advisory services.

• Aid senior bankers in business development activities, compiling background materials, and identifying opportunities for client engagement.

• Facilitate effective communication between clients, advisory teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Assist senior bankers in managing project timelines, deliverables, and ensuring high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, accounting, or valuation.

• Prior experience with M&A transactions or relevant internship experience is highly desirable.

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling using Excel.

• Expertise in PowerPoint for developing client-facing materials.

• Familiarity with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook) is an advantage.

• Fluent or advanced proficiency in English is required (both written and verbal).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective project management and time management skills.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong client service orientation and a collaborative mindset.

• CFA Level I candidate or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
