Investment Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform an overview and analysis of the commercial and financial information of potential acquisition targets.

• Develop and present evaluations regarding the initial compatibility of acquisition targets.

• Execute market research to comprehend industry trends and identify new acquisition possibilities.

• Locate software firms that align with our acquisition standards/metrics and advance opportunities through the deal process.

• Assist the M&A team with various ad hoc responsibilities related to the finalization of ongoing deals.

• Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams for data requests, sharing information, project team meetings, and deal execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A maximum of 2 years of experience in Corporate Development and M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory/Consulting is essential.

• Proven strong academic performance from a prestigious institution.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field; pursuing CPA or CFA is a significant advantage.

• Maturity and presence to engage effectively with C-level executives.

• Self-motivated individual with strong sales and communication abilities.

• Excellent analytical and Excel skills with a keen attention to detail.
