Investigative Interviewing Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide instructor-led training focused on investigative interviewing and effective information gathering.

• Instruct on interview preparation, rapport building, questioning techniques, active listening, and the evaluation of interviews.

• Lead realistic scenarios, role-playing exercises, and group discussions to enhance learning.

• Evaluate participant performance and offer constructive feedback.

• Create or modify lesson plans, presentations, exercises, and materials for participants.

• Customize instruction to align with the agency's mission, investigative duties, and the experience level of participants.

• Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality training delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of professional experience in investigative interviewing.

• At least three years of experience as an instructor, trainer, or educator.

• Capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and facilitating engaging learning for adults.

• Experience in conducting investigations, including criminal, civil, regulatory, administrative, workplace, or similar types.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.

• Willingness to travel for scheduled training sessions.

• Preferred experience in applying or teaching the P.E.A.C.E. investigative interviewing model.

• Preferred background in training government investigators, law enforcement personnel, inspectors, auditors, or compliance professionals.

• Preferred experience in developing scenario-based exercises and assessing interviewing skills.

• Preferred background in teaching ethical, evidence-based interviewing techniques.

• Some positions require a minimum of three years of P.E.A.C.E.-specific experience.
