This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Play a key role in achieving annual sales and profitability goals by conducting inventory audits, replenishing stock, and providing customer training on inventory management programs within the designated territory.
• Oversee and coordinate inventory projects in collaboration with both internal and external clients.
• Propel business expansion with both new and existing clients by serving as the primary contact for inventory-managed solutions.
• Execute inventory audits, procure products, and manage projects for new inventory solutions.
• Supervise and manage the disposition of inventory at customer locations, minimizing excess, obsolete, and discontinued stock.
• Conduct inventory audits, handle replenishment, resolve discrepancies and adjustments, perform site inspections, and ensure adherence to internal control protocols.
• Lead the physical setup of shops, including coordinating schedules, communication, and follow-up activities.
• Conduct due diligence visits to evaluate space and product requirements, and assist in the implementation of inventory solutions at customer sites.
• Create shop planograms, receive products, and stock and label finished goods.
• Act as a subject matter expert on inventory solutions, collaborating with cross-functional sales teams.
• Support project managers in analyzing sales and growth strategies, and present market conditions and issues to customers and leadership.
• Train new employees, vendors, customers, and other departments on inventory solutions.
• Assist in the regional oversight of solution implementations at customer locations.
• Must be a resident of South Carolina, as specified in this posting.
• Experience in inventory management, cycle counting, inventory audits, and stock reconciliation.
• Background in retail, distribution centers, warehouses, or supply chain operations.
• Strong skills in project coordination and experience in customer-facing roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a field-based role while managing multiple priorities and customer sites.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for inventory counts, audits, and customer visits.
• Typically requires a BS/BA in a related field; alternatively, an MS/MA with generally 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Generally requires 5–8 years of experience in a related field for the BS/BA path.
• Certification may be necessary in certain areas.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and make decisions with limited information.
• Capability to perform intermittent physical tasks, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering materials or equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel overnight less than 10% of the time.
