This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and enhance the enterprise inventory management strategy across various facilities, warehouses, and partner locations.
• Create standardized inventory control processes to boost accuracy, transaction integrity, and material visibility.
• Manage inventory transactions, adjustments, warehouse transfers, cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and inventory disposition.
• Ensure accurate processing and maintenance of inventory transactions in NetSuite.
• Monitor inventory health and identify issues such as shortages, excess, obsolete, aging inventory, and associated risks.
• Oversee the inventory planning aspect of the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
• Develop inventory forecasts and assess future inventory situations, including potential shortages, excess stock, imbalances, capacity constraints, and supply risks.
• Align inventory investments with business goals and present inventory forecasts, health, risks, and mitigation strategies during executive SIOP reviews.
• Assist with New Product Introduction, engineering modifications, production increases, and long-lead material planning.
• Manage the enterprise cycle count program and organize annual physical inventories along with financial inventory audits.
• Lead investigations into inventory discrepancies and formulate corrective actions.
• Spearhead Lean inventory initiatives and Kaizen events centered on inventory management and warehouse efficiency.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, training materials, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and executive reports.
• Assess and implement technologies that enhance inventory visibility, automation, and transaction precision.
• Act as the business owner for inventory-related functionalities in NetSuite and collaborate with NetSuite Administrators on workflows, controls, reporting, and master data integrity.
• Work collaboratively across various functions including Operations, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Receiving, Warehouse, Shipping, and with external partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• More than 3 years of leadership experience in managing inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.
• Strong comprehension of inventory management, warehouse operations, inventory planning, cycle counting, manufacturing processes, and ERP systems.
• Practical experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Experience in leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: experience in electrical infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, engineered-to-order, or data center sectors.
• Preferred: experience in implementing inventory control programs across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Preferred: understanding of inventory costing, financial controls, and working capital management.
• Preferred: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications.
