This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Design, develop, and improve dashboards, reporting, analytics, and automation solutions for Inventory Operations.
• Oversee core reporting and analytics that cater to daily, weekly, and ad hoc operational requirements.
• Guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports, dashboards, and the underlying data sources.
• Perform root cause analysis and assess trends to pinpoint issues and enhance workflows.
• Convert findings into actionable recommendations and solutions for business partners and leadership.
• Recognize and implement process enhancements that boost efficiency, increase visibility, and minimize manual tasks.
• Create and sustain analytical datasets, reporting frameworks, and business intelligence resources.
• Draft and uphold documentation for reporting and automation procedures.
• Assist in migrating to advanced data platforms such as Snowflake/GCP and cloud-based environments.
• Design and refine dashboards, scorecards, and visual representations.
• Collaborate with Inventory Operations and cross-functional teams on operational priorities and strategic projects.
• Manage analytical and reporting requests by assessing business requirements and devising effective solutions.
• Facilitate pilots, business cases, reporting transitions, and initiative implementations through data-driven analysis.
• Share best practices and offer guidance on analytics tools, reporting design, automation, and data interpretation.
• Aid in training, knowledge transfer, and the adoption of analytical capabilities within the team.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience, or equivalent, in developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries and analytical solutions.
• At least 1 year of experience with Snowflake/GCP, cloud-based data environments, or modern enterprise analytics platforms.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing reporting automation, workflow automation, or process improvement solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
• Proficient in Tableau, Power BI, and ThoughtSpot, including the creation of dashboards and data visualizations.
• Advanced skills in SQL, Power Query, VBA, and business intelligence platforms.
• Willingness and ability to travel periodically to stores or field locations, up to 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Functional knowledge of Python or other analytical programming languages.
• Experience in building self-service analytics, KPI reporting, or operational dashboards.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to interpret complex business issues.
• Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent collaboration and influencing abilities across teams and leadership levels.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, tailored to both technical and business audiences.
