Interview Engineer – Fixed-term Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Commit to a weekly availability block of 40 hours through October 2026, including accommodating short-notice interview requests.

• Conduct structured 60-minute technical interviews via Karat's platform, covering back-end, full-stack, front-end, and system design areas.

• Provide comprehensive written evaluations of candidates' coding strategies, technical expertise, and communication abilities.

• Uphold Karat's standards for structured, inclusive, and bias-mitigated interviewing practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Experience in conducting technical interviews either through a formal employer program or on an independent basis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A reliable home office setup, complete with a stable internet connection, functioning webcam, and microphone.

• Consistent weekly availability of 40 hours for the entire three-month duration.

• Must currently reside in Australia.
