Interview Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Commit to a consistent weekly availability of 40 hours to accept and conduct structured interviews, including short-notice requests.

• Perform structured 60-minute technical interviews via Karat's platform in back-end, full-stack, front-end, and system design areas.

• Provide comprehensive written evaluations of each candidate's coding techniques, technical expertise, and communication abilities.

• Uphold Karat's standards for structured, inclusive, and bias-free interviewing throughout the engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Experience in conducting technical interviews either through a formal employer program or independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A reliable home setup with a stable internet connection, functioning webcam, and microphone.

• Genuine availability for a consistent weekly block throughout the entire three-month term.

• Must currently reside in New Zealand.
