Interventional Radiology Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review and code a diverse range of records, which include interventional radiology, cardiology, cardiac catheterizations, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, and orthopedics.

• Apply and further develop coding skills within a remote work setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC.

• At least 3 years of coding experience.

• Proficient in coding interventional radiology surgical professional fee records.

• Experienced in coding records for cardiology, cardiac catheterizations, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, and orthopedics.

• Technical skills in remote connectivity, including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via smartphone, and video conferencing tools.

• Competence in office software, such as Outlook for communication, calendar management for meetings, and Excel for data handling.

• A consistent work schedule is essential, with an emphasis on reliable and punctual attendance.

• Achieve client productivity goals while upholding a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
