Interpreter – Vietnamese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate language interpretation between individuals facing language barriers.

• Manage on-demand telephone or video calls.

• Convey the meaning of conversations consecutively between English speakers.

• Process information swiftly and succinctly.

• Acknowledge and respect sensitive cultural differences.

• Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times.

• Employ appropriate industry terminology while understanding standard industry procedures and practices.

• Interpret calls related to Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to ensure a high degree of accuracy.

• Capability to focus, remain detached from discussions, and consistently uphold a neutral and objective stance.

• Proficient in quickly establishing personal credibility.

• Ability to adhere closely to client instructions.

• Competence in explaining specific cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with the client's permission or upon request.

• B2 CEFR English Level proficiency, bilingual in other necessary languages.

• Must be able to work from home on a permanent basis.
