Interpreter, Russian - English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Professionally answer calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Maintain familiarity with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or altering information.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpretations.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and comprehensive interpretations.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report effectively to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in English (source language) and a native speaker of Russian (target language).

• Over 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
