Interpreter, English – Georgian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Professionally respond to calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific terminology relevant to the healthcare and medical industry.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients through precise interpretation of messages.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report regularly to your team leader.

• Follow dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language, 'Georgian'.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare sector is advantageous (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Demonstrated high emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.

• As this role is entirely remote, you must meet various technical requirements for your computer.
